Rustic Cedar Benches

Our Mission is to use a sustainably harvested invasive species (Eastern Red Cedar) to make solid, simple garden benches.

Natural

No attempt has been made to hide the natural features of the cedar, including seams, knots, saw blade marks, etc.

Unique

Each bench is unique, and given the name of a famous nature writer. (i.e. Abbey, Burroughs, Beston, etc.

Finish

Treated with a blend of linseed and tung oil, for weathering protection and to bring out the natural cedar tones, without the plastic shine of polyester resins.

Eventually Recyclable

Leopold style benches are designed to last for many seasons, but to eventually be returned to the earth and be recycled or composted.
